Okay, so apparently I was feeding my fish too much protein (read, bloodworms and brine shrimp) and they got constipated. No, I'm not kidding. No, please stop laughing. How did I know? Well, they were trailing poo. No, not like normal. Look, pal, if you were walking around with a train of poo dragging around on the floor behind you, I don't think you (or anyone around you) would be thrilled. Some of these fish had poo-trains of twice or thrice their body length. Yeah.
So how do you cure constipation? Apparently, by feeding them peas that you squeezed out of their shell and chopped fine. These fish went CRAZY for the peas -- feeding frenzy. Or is that peaing frenzy? Not sure. Anyhow, they're looking less bloated so -- hopefully they are feeling better.

He's beautiful. I've never seen a Beta thrive so well in that much water. Good job.
